One Bedroom and Loft
Our lovely second floor one bedroom and loft unit is spacious and private. It
has a separate entry and a huge private open air lanai which is accessible from
the master bedroom as well as the living/dining rooms. The lanai has views of
the lush tropical plantings and the BEST distant view of the Pacific Ocean in
the Sandpiper Village! You can enjoy the same views of the ocean from the master
bedroom, kitchen, loft and living/dining room windows. Enjoy the famous spectacular
sunsets in Summer! In late morning you can also watch the cruise ships sail
by. The lanai contains a glass top table, chairs and long lounge chairs. It's
the perfect place to relax and sip on a tropical drink after a day of exploring,
shopping or enjoying the many beautiful beaches!
Our two bedroom unit was recently completely renovated with plantation ceiling
fans in all the vaulted ceilings. It is decorated with all new furniture in
the Hawaiian style. In the master suite there is a new comfortable King size
bed and a large cable TV. The bathroom vanity area is separate from the master
bathroom, which is very convenient for more than one person. The bathroom contains
a full bath tub and shower combination. The floors in the bathroom areas are
tiled.
The loft bedroom has new twin beds that can also convert to a King size bed.
The loft contains a half bath and has a spectacular distant view of the Pacific
Ocean.
The kitchen has all new full size appliances, including a dishwasher and a
toaster, coffee maker and blender. You will have all the dishes, glassware,
flatware and other kitchen cooking supplies you need to prepare meals, if you
prefer to dine in. For your added convenience we also provide a large capacity
stacked washer and dryer unit, an iron and ironing board.
The living and dining rooms contain Hawaiian designed furniture with tropical
print fabric. The sofa will convert into a Queen size sleeper. There is a second
large cable TV, along with a stereo that plays CD's and a DVD player, if you
wish to bring along your favorites. The electronics are housed on and within
a lovely antique Chinese cabinet. You will also have telephones for local calls
to anywhere on Kauai and DSL internet access for your laptop computer. A safe
is not provided in the unit for the safekeeping of your valuables. Do not leave
your valuables unattended in the unit as the owner will not be responsible for
any loss.
The Sandpiper Village is nestled on several acres of paradise in Princeville.
The complex has a very large enclosed swimming pool area, a Jacuzzi and sauna.
You can also barbeque in this area using the available gas barbeques. The Sandpiper
Village is close to the Princeville shopping center and restaurants, jogging
path and two lovely golf courses. The beautiful beaches are only a short drive
away.

Booking Procedures, Rates and Payment Options
Please fill out either the registration form or inquiry form on our web site
if you wish to start the booking process or require more information on a
unit. If you book for one week or more and you pay by check or money order
we permit the payment of a deposit of 50% to book and the balance is due 60 days prior to the arrival date. For bookings of less than a week the full
amount is due upon the completion of the booking. All you have to do to complete
your booking is either pay the deposit by credit card, or forward your deposit

If you wish to pay by credit card you may do so on our web site by completing
the registration form and following the directions for a credit card payment

credit cards. To completed the booking when paying by credit card the full
amount is due and payable at the time of booking unless the booking is for

On Kauai Beaches.
The very best beaches in all Hawaii are
located only 5 minutes from the bluffs of Princeville. They offer excellent
snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing and kayaking. You can also kayak up
the nearby rivers that connect the waterfalls to the ocean. You can also hike
the Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast which is located on the North Shore of
Kauai and see the breathtaking views of the mountains, waterfalls and the ocean.
The North Shore of Kauai has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in
the world.
Basically Kauai is a natures' paradise. The most beautiful areas are still
pristine areas with no houses or hotels and the better beaches are generally
not accessible directly from condos, like Lumahai beach where scenes of South
Pacific were filmed, or Secret Beach and many others. You must search them
out and go to them and one cannot live right next to them close to the beach.
Some are a 1/2 mile walk from the roadway and others are a few hundred yards
down a slope or through the trees, etc.
In my personal opinion, if you want to visit other beaches on other parts
of the Island of Kauai, the Marriott Hotel located in Lihue has the best
Hotel beach on Kauai at Kalapaki Beach, and it is free and accessible by
all visitors. Jan and I go there when we want to be close to things beautiful
like the Marriot and yet far away by ourselves on a little section of lovely
beach in an Island Paradise. If you want more private beaches you need to
go to the ones I have mentioned. As referred to earlier, our very favorite
private beach is 5 minutes from Princeville and is located in Hanalei Bay
which has 3 miles of white sand coral free beach, and seldom has over 50
people on the entire beach. There are a few mansions around but it is still
private to a major degree.
The North Shore of Kauai, near Princeville, has more of the best beaches in
all Hawaii than on any other Island. It is 8 miles to the end of the road
from Princeville and it is a nature's wonderland and a beach lover's paradise.
You will find lovely Ke'e Beach at the very end of the road in a park setting
where the Kalalau Trail commences. It is great for snorkeling and for little
ones as the beach area inside the reefs and coral is wave free and a giant
tide pool that is crystal clear.
Kauai is not like Waikiki Beach or Kanapali Beach, all great beaches, but
they are often filled with thousands of people. Kauai's beaches are more
hidden and exclusive and represent an adventure to search out, find, and
visit. It can be an all day experience where you pack a lunch and beverages
and go with a sun umbrella and lots of sunscreen to be with and enjoy nature
in a special, private and secluded way.
If you really want to walk a beach located next to a great Hotel, the Marriott
Hotel in Lihue is the best on Kauai. Of course, the Princeville Hotel is
a must to see and visit along with its more modest beach. It is truly a World
Class Hotel in every respect and a great place to dine at evening time on
the lanai at Hanalei Café and watch the sunset turn into night over
beautiful Hanalei Bay and the Hanalei mountains.
